ZanaAfrica’s impact is driven by both research and the lived experiences of the people we serve. Our proven research (conducted in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Plan International and the Population Council) brings data to our day- to- day decisions. The stories of the individuals we serve fuels our mission and program design and our many donors and partners aid in the scale and expansion of our solution across Kenya.

Transformative Impacts
Our core school- based intervention was designed in response to consistent questions we gathered from over 10,000 adolescents. It challenges systemic constraints on girls’ agency by unlocking reproductive health and life skills education for all youth through after- school clubs and take- home magazines. The program involves 25 health and life skills sessions in schools over 18 months alongside provision of our sanitary pads which promote free, confidential digital health services.
